Data Engineer (m/f/d)

YOUR GAME

  • Build and maintain the current data infrastructure 

  • Create as well as optimize pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems

  • Analyze and implement data storage solutions

  • Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders to understand data needs, representing key data insights visually in a meaningful way

  • Real-time as well as batch data processing and aggregation

  • Perform in-depth analysis 

  • Design, build, and launch collections of sophisticated data models and visualizations that support multiple use cases

  • Advise teams to identify data opportunities to drive impact

YOUR TALENT

  • You hold a university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • You have worked as a data engineer for at least 3+ years, preferably in the game industry or a related field.

  • Excellent core competencies in C#, Python or comparable programming languages.

  • Very good knowledge of noSQL and SQL databases and technologies including Apache Cassandra, ELK-Stack (Kibana, Logstash, Elasticsearch).

  • Profound knowledge of data structures, algorithms and software design principles.

  • Proficiency in BI visualization tools like Periscope, Tableau, Google DataStudio, Looker, or PowerBI.

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. German language skills are a plus.
