Senior Software Engineer (Web) (m/f/d)

YOUR GAME
This is an exciting role in our web team for a seasoned professional. Your goal will be to improve our services and platforms to address our players and help our internal staff in their efforts. You will engineer solutions for complex and high demand projects to realize our mission of high available, flawless publishing and purchase infrastructure. A key to the success of this role is to balance stakeholder desires for speedy implementations in an environment of established systems and requirements.
   
  • Develop high-quality software design and architecture  
  • Understand and realize high level projects both for intern and extern   
  • Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in a Kanban environment  
  • Review code of other web developers  
  • Advance unit and integration testing of micro services  
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholder to improve products and features
YOUR TALENT
An ideal candidate has at least 6 years of hands-on experience as a software engineer in a web technology company. But even more important than experience is your aspiration to walk the road from a feature idea to a finished product with the highest possible efficiency.

  • Extensive experience in software development (preferably backend or fullstack) or project management  
  • Professional experience with Java  
  • Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban  
  • Excellent communication skills (presentation, verbal and written) in English. German language skills are a plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related degree from a reputable university
